Description
Preston Innovations is proud to introduce the new generation of carp rods specifically designed for European carp fishing.
The STR range is based on the core of our Euro Carp (and Euro XS) range allowing full compatibility for previous owners from butt to tip, whilst benefiting from the latest carbon technology to produce rods that are simply a pleasure to use.
The range consists of 5 rods, all sharing the same mandrel so they are fully interchangeable, and a whole new generation of kits.
The brief when creating this range was comfort, power, balance, compatibility and accuracy, all of which have been achieved to create the best European range of rods to date!
We've developed completely new kits for the Euro Carp STR rods, with the key design concept being simplicity!
With this in mind, the top kits for every rod in the range are identical, so whether you're buying the 8.5m Edge rod or the top-of-the-range STR 1300, you know that the top kits are identical, top quality and fully interchangeable.
The range includes 2 power kits (290cm) available in black or grey, a 3-piece version (440cm) is also available in black for deeper locations as well as a 1-piece short kit (185cm) which can be extended to 290cm using the short kit extension.
Each kit includes depth markers at 1 cm intervals, essential for adjusting your bottom and the distance between the float and the connector.
Edge fishing is becoming increasingly popular as big fish can be caught close to the bank.
The STR Margin is both strong and stiff, meaning it can be used comfortably at any length up to 10m, which is very handy when the fish are retreating further from shore.
The STR Margin perfectly complements the STR, STR X and STR S so anglers can have a dedicated rod for bank fishing that is fully interchangeable with their main rod.
