Nylon or fluorocarbon, your leader must be clean and neat.
The diameter you use must be consistent with the hook size chosen and the species sought.
Depending on the brand, nylons will be more or less rigid, less elastic, etc.
Using fluorocarbon is not just a matter of discretion. Its hold, much stiffer than a classic nylon, its rigidity, allows you to fish finer with as much resistance as a larger nylon!
