Preston Innovations has built a reputation for our wide selection of long rods, and we've decided to simplify our ranges by offering the same mandrels on the popular Masterclass range as we do on the Euro Match and STR Carp rods. Enter the MCX era!
The Euro MCX rods are developed on the same mandrel as the current Euro rods, making them fully interchangeable. They are designed primarily for recreational anglers and occasional competitors.
Thanks to the presence of graphene combined with the latest generation of carbon, the MCX rods offer significantly improved stiffness and strength compared to the previous Masterclass rods, meaning that, in addition to being exceptional rods for silverfish, they are now also capable of targeting carp. Within the range, you'll have the choice between the Euro MCX4 and the MCX6, each offering different performance characteristics and packages to suit all budgets.

The flagship rod in the range, available in 13m. Offering incredible value for money and a superb kit package, this rod is a pleasure to fish at full length. The MCX6 is ultra-stiff, perfectly balanced, and the ideal rod for anglers who want a single rod that will do it all.
