Preston Innovations are proud to introduce the next generation of carp rods specifically designed for carp fishing in Europe.
The STR range is based on the mandrel of our Euro Carp (and Euro XS) range allowing full compatibility for previous owners from butt to tip, whilst benefiting from the latest carbon technology to produce rods that are simply a joy to use.
The range consists of 5 rods, all sharing the same mandrel so they are fully interchangeable, and a brand new generation of kits.
The brief when creating this range was: comfort, power, balance, compatibility and precision, all of which have been achieved to create the best European range of rods to date!
We have developed brand new kits for the Euro Carp STR rods, with the key design concept being simplicity!
With this in mind, the kits for each rod in the range are identical, so whether you buy the 8.5m Edge rod or the top of the range STR 1300, you know the kits are identical, high quality and fully interchangeable.
The range includes 2 power kits (290cm) available in black or grey, a 3 piece version (440cm) is also available in black for deeper venues as well as a 1 piece short kit (185cm) which can be extended to 290cm using the short kit extension.
Each kit features depth markers at 1cm intervals, essential for adjusting your bottom and float to connector distances.
The 13m STR X version is the most powerful rod we have ever produced - X really does mean Xtra strong!
Despite its power, this rod is pleasant to use and can be easily used over its entire length of 13m without having to place it on your bait bar
This pack will also be very popular as a second rod for anglers who have a high-end STR rod and want to fish for specimen fish or for fishing in obstacles
