Versatile feeder / method feeder rod
Whitefish and small carp
The Specimen range of rods is extremely versatile for both river and stillwater use.
The four rods in this family are available in 11ft and 12ft with 1¼ lb and 1½ lb test bends to cover everything from whitefish to chub, tench and bream, using a wide variety of techniques, including bolt rigs, method feeders, helicopter rigs and running rigs.
The 1¼ lb models are ideal for a wide range of small species such as roach, rotengles, perch and more. With large diameter rings spaced considerably apart, casting accuracy is excellent and the progressive power action prevents hook stalls and is a real advantage when playing and catching quality fish.
The 1½ lb version, also available in 11ft and 12ft, is perfect for chub, barbel, tench, bream and medium-sized carp.
The 1½ lb versions have slightly larger diameter rings that improve both casting distance and accuracy. The progressive power action dampens the grip and prevents hook stalls, which helps considerably when catching large specimens.
