This is Middy's Quartix range front loader mount, completely custom designed from scratch and developed over several months.
It's only straight on one side, to make it easier to place your rod, and the vertical section is slightly curved to hold the rod firmly during a bite.
The resting area is particularly wide, which is perfect when you have to let go of the rod to land a fish.
It has soft rubberized TPE channels to make it non-slip, even when your rod is angled into the water.
You can also adjust the angle of rest to any angle within 180 degrees, thanks to the simple push-button angle lock.
The rest is quite narrow, so it fits in a tote without taking it off your arm, while the compact size leaves more room in your landing net.
