Description
Skimmer Hollow Carbon floats have been among the most popular in the Natural range, both in their carbon and stainless steel keel versions.
As is often the case with the growing success of these floats, anglers have expressed a desire to have this versatile body shape, which works so well, but with a different material for the antenna: hollow plastic. Offering this hollow antenna version on both stainless steel and carbon keel models greatly expands the possibilities for use: larger bait, more fishing situations, and greater visibility.
Hollow quills are highly visible and remain visible in all light conditions, while providing a little more buoyancy at the tip, making it easier to support heavier baits such as pellets, corn kernels or worms in rougher conditions.
In winter, when light is low, it is often difficult to see a thin antenna clearly, whereas a thicker hollow antenna will stand out perfectly even if it is weighted at the surface!
The 0.5 g, 0.75 g, 1 g, 1.25 g, 1.5 g and 2 g floats are equipped with a 1.5 mm hollow antenna, while the 2.5 g, 3 g and 4 g floats have a 1.7 mm antenna.
