Bagga Mix Dark / Green Groundbait 1kg - Mainline
When professional angler Andy Bennett joined the Mainline Match team earlier this year, he was keen to create his own groundbait mix for pole and feeder fishing. And so the Bagga Mix was born!
This groundbait consists of a blend of pellets of varying sizes and levels of fishmeal and oil, which gives it its distinctive scent.
The grinding of the mixture is also key: it gives it a grainy yet uniform texture, making it very easy to mix and use. All the particles absorb water very well, allowing the groundbait to swell. Furthermore, and this is a key point for Bagger, it sinks very quickly, allowing it to be used in every possible way to encourage fish to feed on the bottom.
It can be shaped into a hard or soft ball, but it is particularly effective when presented as a ‘sandcastle’ or loose in a cup attached to the rod. This mix is equally effective when moulded around a Method or Hybrid feeder, breaking down quickly and evenly.
The Bagga mix has a neutral black or green colour that is highly attractive regardless of water clarity and is proving to be a very popular all-round groundbait for all species of fish, particularly carp, F1s and bream.
