Description
A very meaty smell, thanks to the fish meal, makes it very attractive to catfish shoals. It is a fairly clear composition without colouring, which you can darken by adding vine black, for example.
It has a fairly high sticking power, so it is recommended for use in running or closed waters more than 2 metres deep. You can make it sink even faster with a little somme earth (wet clay). You can also wet it with molasses. Conversely, you can make it work faster by adding ground hemp seed. However, be aware that the dispersing power of hemp seed must be taken into account.
The special catfish bait is a very rich composition. This keeps the fish on the spot while maintaining a good average weight. You can further enrich it by adding 20 to 40% B.M.L., for example.
It already contains a good proportion of meat pellets, which makes it effective on large bottom-feeding fish as well. You can also use it with a feeder.
It is possible to mix the different compositions. However, we recommend using them pure to get the most out of the work that has gone into these recipes.
