The Purist BX3 range of barbel rods have been designed without compromise to offer barbel anglers a combination of the best fishing and casting action with a "tailor-made" design.

There are four models in the range to cover everything from intimate small river fishing with small sinkers and feeders, to larger rivers using large sinkers, PVA bags and oversized feeders.
All models have a 3K carbon weave reinforcement in the blank to improve power, combined with a progressive taper action for safe fishing.
The Purist BX3 Barbel is built on a high quality full carbon blank which offers a fantastic combination of lightness, balance and hidden power.
The shank sections are reinforced with a 3K carbon weave for added strength and blend seamlessly with the tapered nose section which is designed to improve bite detection and compensate for big rushes, especially at close range.
The lighter 1.75lb model is perfect for the smaller river specialist, the mid-range 2.25lb is a great all-rounder and both Intensity models will tackle the biggest rivers in the most extreme conditions.
All models feature a classic cork handle with rubber detailing, custom DPS reel seat and Shimano Hardlite guides.
As a finishing touch of class, the tips have light white branding for better visibility and the handle is finished with a metal cap.
