The use of Band'ums has become synonymous with method
feeder fishing, whether you're a carp or big fish angler or a
angler who simply enjoys a pleasant day at the water's edge.
The variety of these hookbaits has proved incredibly effective in
catching carp and other quality fish on a wide range of fishing grounds
.
Band'ums, as the name suggests, were
created for exactly this purpose - to be used with an elasticated
band to secure the bait, an approach that many anglers
still prefer today. However, with the demand for a softer
wafter, we were keen to introduce a
hookbait Method suitable for this style of presentation.
The
Spike'um Wafters have been developed through extensive testing to
ensure a high performance wafter that retains its effectiveness as a
Hookbait wafter whilst being soft enough to be baited with
a needle or bayonet but not so soft as to be
easily ejected on cast or snatched up by small fish
nuisance. What's more, we've ensured that Spike'ums remain
balanced over time, a consistency we strive
to achieve with all our Method hookbaits.
