PELLET WAGGLER SPLASH'EM "MINI BOULB" MIDDY

The Splash'Em range of floats from Middy has been created specifically for up-in-the-water fishing on carp commercials, with five different patterns and different loadings to choose from in each. All these floats are hand-made in the UK with exceptional quality, using A-grade soft balsa, Hi-Viz tips and screw-in interchangeable swivel weights (depending on the pattern). Firstly, there's the Splash'Em "Straights", which are available in 6g and 8g loadings with a thin 9mm and 10mm diameter straight tip respectively, making them usable even where fisheries have banned the boulb top style. The "Straights" register more sensitive bites and are therefore suitable for situations where carp are not in a total feeding frenzy. They require no shot and they're approximately 13cm and 13.5cm in length. If you want a shorter, lighter loading version, go for the Splash'Em "Mini Straights" - these are available in 3g and 4g loadings and both are approximately 11.5cm in length. They are very short and chunky wagglers for fishing 6mm pellet in shallow water from close to medium distances. If you prefer a boulb shape tip for higher visibility and to stop the float diving too quickly, look at the Splash'Em "Boulbs", which are available in 8g and 10g loadings and require no shot. They also attract carp by making the perfect splash sound on entry to the water. The "Boulbs" are approximately 16cm and 16.5cm long respectively, or you can opt for the Splash'Em "Mini Boulbs" if you want a lighter 3g or 3.5g loading in a shorter 11.5cm length, with a high shot capacity (3no.6 required). Finally, there's the Splash'Em "Clear Toppers", which are made with 10mm diameter crystal clear polymer and they're excellent for fishing pellet in clear shallow water in the summer, because they will avoid spooking feeding carp. The "Clear Toppers" are available in a really short 3g loaded version for short range and shallow swims, as well as a 4g, a 6g, plus an 8g for you when you're going long-range to the far-bank. All in all, the Splash'Em range is a fantastic selection of shallow water floats, paying testament to Middy's heritage as the number one float maker.
