CANNE 'S' RANGE BARBEL SEEKER RODS FREE SPIRIT

The “S”range specialist range and Barbel rods have been around for some time now and still remain very popular. Made from 36 ton low resin Japanese carbon that has served so well for the actions needed by species like tench, bream, chub and barbel and fitted with full cork handles, steel fittings stainless steel, a Clone reel seat with isotope slot and “S”-Lite. guides.

They all feature a 'Perdurable' finish, meaning the blanks are precision finished and ground so you can admire the quality of the material for years to come.

The Barbel Seekers need no introduction, although we'll leave that to Steve Pope – former President of the Barbel Society and user of this rod for many years.

Available in 11' and 12' with a weight of 80g, these are the versatile products of our Barbel range of the "S" range.

The 11' is designed for fishing small rivers where precise casting is required and also adapts well to difficult areas and where overhead obstacles make using a longer rod more difficult.

The 12' will cope with most situations encountered with modern barbel fishing, except where strong flows require a little more power. As Steve says, “This rod is aesthetically pleasing and an absolute pleasure to use. Its lightness hides the hidden power which will give you incredible sensations on both 2kg and 6kg barbels.





Blank and rod weights may vary slightly from those shown. We use stainless steel collars and tips for durability, which will add a little to the overall weight of the rod, but being on the handle shouldn't affect its balance.
