Producing a rod that was even better than the original MTX4 was never going to be easy, but we knew that by doing so we would be able to deliver the ultimate competition rod. The MTX5 rod sets the bar very high with unparalleled performance in all areas.

     Designed as an elite competition rod, ideal for the carpodrome as well as for natural courses and white fish
     This rod offers the perfect balance between stiffness and power
     The sober cosmetics with black finish accentuates the exclusive effect
     Manufactured from the finest Japanese carbon fibers and resins
     Very high-end top kits, thinner, which optimize the performance of the rod
     All rods are built on the same mandrel which makes them fully interchangeable, including between different generations.
     These rods benefit from our MST layered manufacturing technology, anti-friction GLIDE finish and 1K carbon reinforced joints.
     Sections n°3 and N°4 are equipped with Matrix Protective Nose Cones
     All top kits are equipped with PTFE tulips for elastics
     The mini extensions are all supplied with EVA protections
